2016… It was the year that would turn my life upside down. My happy, ordinary world would come to a screeching halt and everything I thought knew would be mercilessly rearranged. This site is where I get to share some of those thoughts, process my own healing, and hopefully share some hope, love, and encouragement along the way.
Beautifully Broken…
Those may not strike you as two words that go together. They may very well strike you completely wrong, I mean really – who in their right mind would say being broken is beautiful? None of us run around looking for ways to become broken by choice; no indeed, we protect ourselves and our families – avoiding pain, hurt and things that will break us at all costs. Yet no matter how hard we try, we will all face brokenness at some point in our lives, some of us more than others.
But what if…
What if there really is beauty to be found in the darkest storms of our lives?
What if there is hope to be had, even when everything around you says the situation is hopeless?
What if there truly is joy and peace at your disposal no matter your situation?
That would be worth talking about, wouldn’t it? Well my friends, that is exactly why this site exists, to share hope that every storm will pass, to build faith that God is enough to carry you through every circumstance, and let you know you are not alone. It’s my prayer if your soul is hurting, you will find comfort here.
